Course Description

A half day course when delegates will practise essential basic life support procedures, including assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, recovery position, CPR and choking.

Course Objectives

Delegates will acquire the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including common anaphylaxis triggers, signs, symptoms and treatments and CPR.

Suitable For

This qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, at home or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis.

Course Requirements

Delegates must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of training.
